Established in 1982, Sensortechnics was formed
as a family-run trading business for basic pressure sensors. It soon extended its
activities to include the development and manufacture of high-quality
piezoresistive pressure transducers and transmitters. Today,
Sensortechnics belongs to the Augusta Technologie AG and employs more than 75 people worldwide.
Sensortechnics develops and manufactures pressure sensors and sensing systems,
liquid level sensors and switches as well as oxygen, flow and bubble sensors. The company has
specialised in manufacturing highly customised sensors and in the development of
complex integrated sensing and fluid control systems for OEM customers worldwide.
Additionally, Sensortechnics operates as a distributor for worldwide leading companies in
sensor and fluidic control technology. Several years ago the company became the
European Master Distributor for Honeywell's pressure, flow and force sensors with its
premium brands of Honeywell, SenSym, Foxboro ICT and Data
Instruments. Further,
Sensortechnics is the Certified Distributor and development partner of Parker Hannifin
Corporation, Precision Fluidics Division, the former Pneutronics Division. The Precision Fluidics Division provides a wide range of high
performance miniature valves, highly media resistant valves, electronic pressure
controllers and miniature diaphragm pumps.
These partnerships enable Sensortechnics to offer OEM customers a very wide selection
of sensing and fluid control products. Furthermore, the company can develop and
manufacture sensing and fluid control systems for customer specific applications with very
short design cycle times.
Sensortechnics headquarters and product development centre with its team of
experienced engineers is based near Munich, Germany. Additionally, Sensortechnics has
sales offices in the United States, Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Sweden,
Denmark and representatives throughout the world.
